Parents were left fuming by a blunder that saw the CBeebies channel displayed amongst porn channels on the Freeview programme guide.
The service rolled out an update on Wednesday which saw CBeebies given a new channel number. It was moved to , which comes just after channel Adult Section, Gay Rabbit and dating.
One mum, Danielle Bazouki, 28, told The Sun: ‘I was disgusted. I couldn’t think it.’

The mother-of-two said due to a broken remote, she had to scroll through the channels, meaning she landed on each adult channel before reaching CBeebies.
‘I was horrified my son may observe something inappropriate.’
The adult channels had in fact been moved to , but those who had not yet retuned their boxes saw the channel titles still appear against their old numbers.
Parents took to Twitter to voice their disgust:

Jamie seems to be picking up new words and sayings every day now and generally, when he recites one, Vanessa and I react with celebration and praise.
But yesterday's group of words of the day was a bit of a shocker. And even worse - it's stuck.
We had just finished dinner at his Grandad Geoff's last night and were commencing to gather up his bits and pieces prior to departure. Meanwhile, Jamie himself was getting restless.
In a generous attempt to keep him amused, Geoff's wife Suzi fired up the telly to find for some suitable kiddie programme to kill a few minutes.
And it was at this point that she stumbled across the Gay Rabbit channel.
