Is ian gallagher really gay
When we are first introduced to Ian, he is sixteen years old and is mostly quiet and shy compared to the rest of his family. It is revealed after a few episodes that Ian is gay when his older brother Lip finds Ian’s stash of gay pornography magazines and asks him about it. I chose to analyze the character Mickey Milkovich in Shameless due to the show’s popularity and inclusion of absorbing dynamics regarding different minorities and stereotypes. In terms of representing aspects of the LGBTQ community, Shameless successfully provides realistic and relatable gay characters that defy popular homosexual stereotypes.
