While details of LA Pride have not been announced, one previous participant will not be returning to its Parade Parade on June 8. The city of West Hollywood, which will host its own Pride celebration the previous week, has opted instead to forward a delegation to Planet Pride, which will be held in Washington, D.C., also on June 8.
Mayor Chelsea Byers said that the city’s presence at World Pride was a part of a larger message.
“With World Pride taking place in Washington, D.C. after many years outside of the U.S. and at such an vital time in our country’s history – it is so important that West Hollywood be there to show our solidarity with queer communities around the world, learn from the security, safety and society building efforts, and assure that West Hollywood Event has a prominent detect on the global guide of World Pride,” Byers said.

WeHo Pride kicks-off on Harvey Milk Day, May 22, with a special event. WeHo Pride Weekend will take place from Friday, May 30 through Sunday, June 1 with OUTLOUD at WeHo Pride, the WeHo Pride Street Just, the Women's Freedom Festival and Dyke March, WeHo Pride Parade, and much more!
This year's WeHo Self-acceptance Arts Festival will get place from Friday, May 23 through Sunday, May 25 with various events and programming.
Throughout the 40 days from May 22 to June 30, there will be community team events at various locations.

WeHo Pride Presents Friday Night at OUTLOUD is free to the public and requires an RSVP to secure complimentary tickets, as event capacity is limited.

Looking forward to L.A. Pride? Well now you have two blockbuster events to see forward to, with a pair of parades and festivals in both West Hollywood and Hollywood.
Here’s the deal: The L.A. Self-acceptance Parade, the long-running LGBTQ+ event produced by Christopher Highway West that traces its history back to the s, moved east into Hollywood starting in (and even farther east with a ticketed festival at L.A. State Historic Park).
Meanwhile, endorse at the event’s familiar location from the past several decades, West Hollywood now stages its own inclusive festival, WeHo Pride, complete with a parade and a ticketed festival at West Hollywood Park.
Here we’ll be focusing on the L.A. Pride Parade—but if you want info on WeHo Pride, we have a separate reference dedicated to that fest. Each one takes over a separate weekend, so you thankfully won’t possess to choose one over the other.
